Jetstream Tours Unveils New, Magnificent Vessel called Cruiser, for Unforgettable Family Experiences

Jetstream Tours is thrilled to announce the addition of a magnificent new boat to its fleet.

The introduction of this vessel marks an exciting milestone in the company’s commitment to

delivering exceptional experiences and unparallel customer satisfaction.

Built in 1974 in Brightlingsea, Essex, Cruiser has now circumnavigated Britain having

previously operated in Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole, Greenock and has now returned

to the South East via the Caledonian Canal. Cruiser will be working alongside our existing

vessel “Jacob Marley” to provide additional services from Southend, Chatham,

Queenborough and Gravesend.

Over the past few weeks, she has been relocated around the coast on a 10-day long mission to deliver the vessel to its new home in Kent. Our crew encountered some amazing scenery and calm waters throughout their journey, with Dolphins and Puffins providing frequent visits to keep them company. Passing through beautiful landscapes such as the Mull of Kintyre, Lochness, Aberdeen and Whitby. Now, Cruiser will be carrying out historical Thames boat tours, enhancing existing Thames Estuary tours whilst also opening up the possibility for new pick-up locations and tour destinations.

Cruiser is designed to provide passengers with the ultimate comfort, luxury, with vast

amounts of open deck space and panoramic views, she also boosts impressive seakeeping

abilities to maintain cruises even the wind and wave picks up. This new boat sets a new

standard for boat tours in Kent and Essex which are suitable for all ages.

Here are some key features of this impressive new addition:

1. Cruiser has a length of 24 metres and is 8m wide and accommodates passengers

over two decks. She offers ample space for passengers to move around freely whilst

underway whatever the weather. The vessels contemporary design blends

sophistication and functionality, providing an inviting environment made to fit over

200 passengers on board.

2. Unmatched comfort: indulge in the spacious deck, featuring plush seating

arrangements, designed to provide maximum comfort and relaxation. Cruiser is

equipped with a kitchen area, dining area, fully licenced bar and toilet facilities

onboard.

3. Superior performance: Passengers will experience a smooth and exhilarating tour,

even in windier weather conditions and rougher seas. Cruiser hull design allows for

all-year round cruising from Tower Bridge to as far east as Margate or Clacton.

4. Versatility and safety: Cruiser has been engineered to adapt to various boating

activities, making it suitable for both leisurely cruises, parties, and sightseeing. With

multiple boarding decks Cruiser has the ability to load passengers even on extremely

low tides even at Southend pier. Allowing her unrestricted access all day, every day.

“We are thrilled to introduced Cruiser, an extraordinary addition to our fleet which has been in the works for many years now,” said Richard Bain, Managing Director of Jetstream Tours. “Cruiser is guaranteed to provide our passengers with the ultimate river experience, and we look forward to sharing the magic of this remarkable vessel with everyone.”
